1:6 Scale Captain James Hook Custom Figure
Grateful to be collaborating for first time with Master Artist Scott Petersen on this amazing custom figure of Captain James Hook from the 1991 Movie “Hook”.
Scott began working on this project four years ago and got us in December 2019 to start production on the costume. We hit a couple of snags throughout the development stages of the prototype coupled with the Covid Pandemic delaying our production and supply chain. I do believe that the fortuitous circumstances and delays worked out really well in the end , as it gave us more time to think things through and improve on the fabrication process. Learned a lot of new techniques and procedural steps to overcome the hurdles of having such a complex outfit produced in 1:6 Scale and being able to tackle all the challenges is truly gratifying.
As with any other custom figure build, it took several artists, working hand-in-hand, to bring Dustin Hoffman’s Captain Hook to life. So here’s a big Shout Out to everyone who were involved in the development of this figure.
